Just found out Maker made their support section invisible to me so that I would stop exposing them

Good thing I have a friend who has access to that section of the forum (who also hasn't been paid as well). Funny thing, I never even bashed them on their own forum. All I'm doing here is revealing the TRUTH.

Maker Gen deletes Support forums with all threads regarding payouts

On top of all this non-sense from Maker Gen they decided to delete their ENTIRE SUPPORT section of their forums! My guess is because of all the payment and scamming complaints that existed in that section. If you scroll further down the blog here you will see countless amounts of complaints from other partners who haven't been compensated for months with still no solution. Maker Studios is great at hiding their true colors.

Still linked to network and account earning Maker Gen money

Approximately four weeks ago someone from Maker said they would look into unlinking me from the network then stopped replying and deny me from leaving their network while they violate their own contract. Still no money, no support and no value.

This is officially the WORST MCN to date. Maker Studios + Maker Gen are not only scam artists, they violate their own contract and make up bogus excuses not to pay their partners. Also they keep you linked to their network to earn THEM money LOL. Sounds very fair!

Follow up on Maker Gen support team

Funny how this network just makes excuses and the complaints keep coming. So far from everyone I have spoken to directly, nobody has been paid a cent. Every time somebody gets a reply, its either they are "suspicious", "payment amount isn't correct", "we have transferred you to royalties department (and then no reply after that lol)", "wait until the 15th for payment (even though everyone has been waiting since July lol)", "we are looking into it thanks for your patience" or a closed ticket with no answer (my favorite one).

This network provides NO VALUE to you, they just take your money and leave you empty handed while keeping you linked to their scam network. Join YouTube's partner program and monetize through AdSense instead of becoming a part of this nightmare MCN.

Moderators on the forum trying to defend the company. Disney merge was back in April LOL. Join Maker Gen or Maker Studios and enjoy the A+ support! NOT. I would gladly give them an A+ for excuses though!

Maker Studios aka. Maker Gen why are you keeping me linked to your network when I am so called  "suspicious"? I know you are reading this and it is completely BS that your team would accuse my account of suspicious activity when my account is in AMAZING standing and is over 2 years old and still ACTIVE. I have contacted partner support on YouTube, my account has nothing suspicious about it.

Again browsing on the forums here is more proof Maker Gen is a terrible network.

Last support ticket submitted over a week ago, zero reply. My lawyer has been advised and I already have over 20 people rounded up to file a massive complaint against your scam company.

More proof Maker Studios and Maker Gen is a scam

Here we have more complaints on their own forums about non payment, these are starting to pile up!

Maker Gen loves to keep you linked to their network even when you are so called "suspicious" and keep on earning money from your content. Quality company. On the dashboard they also log that you have been paid out even when you haven't! If the IRS comes after me claiming I have to pay taxes on money I never received I will be making my way to their headquarters to raise some heck.

More forum madness

Was just checking the Maker forums just now and vola here more people complaining about not being paid. YouTube needs to take action on such a shady network. There is one fellow complaining about not getting a reply to a support ticket for over 2 months! I know how he feels, it took 3 weeks to get a generic response for mine and then they marked the ticket it as solved without issuing payment or fixing the problem.

Like I said MakerGen or Maker Studios or anything Maker you'll get a 0-100 split so stay away from this horrible network.

Good job Disney. Acquire a company then turn it into trash.

Decided to dig a bit further and there are complaints even in the Spanish, Russian and French section of the forums! (I translated it with Google Translation in Chrome)

Maker will not unlink an account even after they violate their own contract. If my account is so called "suspicious" why would this network want to keep me on board? Oh that is right, because its not suspicious and they just want to continue to make money from my channel!

2 year old organically grown YouTube channel ranked #1 for several top searched keywords... Definitely makes a lot of sense. Will post more Analytics data tomorrow to prove how organic my channel is.

Oh did I mention on the dashboard they have claimed to have paid out but haven't since July?

I suggest joining MakerGen or Maker Studios if you want a 0-100 revenue split! They will gladly take it all.

Forum complaints starting to flood in

Been looking through the Maker forums and have noticed that the support section is filled with people who have not received payments since July. Even in other speaking language sections there are a lot of complaints. Unresolved tickets are endless and you can even see the moderators have deleted a lot of posts.

Maybe the company is running into the hole now that all their top ex-founders have been suing them for hundreds of millions. (Just a speculation)

No payment for August and now September

Today is November 2nd. There is still no payment from August and there is now a September payment due. Nothing has been paid out, yet Maker Max is telling me on the dashboard that it has indeed been paid out (LIES). I have decided to unmonetize all my videos to prevent this terrible company from continuing to make money off my channel. On another side note, I finally got an automated reply to a support ticket (after 3 weeks) it said to "Fix and Repair" my channel (What the heck is that suppose to mean?). I replied immediately and now 5 days have past with no reply (lol). 

Also 3rd time now they have denied to unlink my channel from their network.

If you want to be taken advantage of, please join MakerGen. They will gladly take your content and not pay you out for it while keeping you linked to their scam network.

Maker Gen denies unlink, leaves advertisements on, continues to earn from my content

A few days ago I requested to be unlinked from the MakerGen network as they have accused my account of "suspicious activity". I notified them in the support ticket that I no longer want to be part of their network and asked kindly to be unlinked as my channel has grown to the point where I can partner with YouTube directly. 

As of today, advertisements remain active on all videos, earnings are still updating on the YouTube analytics (today made $14 for them). Maker Gen provided non payment, no human communication and declines me from leaving their network.

I am highly considering a class action lawsuit at this point. I know there are many people affected by this so I ask everyone who has been affected by Maker Studios (aka MakerGen, RPM Network, etc) to please come forward and leave a comment below. If we can get a large amount of people I will reach out to all of you so that we can claim what is rightfully ours.

MakerGen aka. RPMNetwork & Maker Studios will steal your earnings they are scammers

I have decided to blog about this horrid company because they have stolen about 2 grand from me over the past 2 months and continue to do so by keeping me locked into their network and displaying advertisements on my videos without providing payment.

In 2012 I created a dance tutorials YouTube channel, to this day it is approximately 2 years old. When I originally started it, I could not partner with YT since I was very small so I decided to join RPM Network which was recommended to me by a user on the YTtalk.com forums. They never helped me grow, this was something I had to do on my own while they took a 40% cut of my earnings (this was hard to swallow but I looked at it as a short term thing).  The account to this date is not very huge but earns anywhere from $4 dollars a day UP TO $70 in the winter months. After having a solid establishment with Maker Gen/RPM Network for over 1.5 years they finally shit the bed. At the end of September, I was excepting a payment of approximately $700 ish dollars which never ended up coming through. The dashboard shows the amount as "paid out" which is obviously not true. It took weeks to get a single response, I even got duplicated copy/pasted emails from a supposed "Melissa" and "Lawrence". After 22 days of non responses today I get a message saying that my account is suspicious and that I will not be receiving any money... yet my account continues to display Ads and earnings generated in YouTube's Analytics.

The staff moderates the forums heavily and will delete any posts that bash their crooked company (even if its truthful). The people they employ from the forums are liars and made up excuses for non payments throughout the 1st until the 15th to stall people from complaining!

Cole notes:
-You will never receive an email from a human being if you talk to their royalties department.
-You will not see a last name for any individual who works for Maker Studios.
-Maker Studios will not pay your owed earnings if they don't want to.
-Maker Studios will leave your contract active and account connected to their network while continuing to EARN them money while NOT paying you out.

Sorry for the rant, I had to write this and expose this shady company. I will be partnering directly with YouTube on my new account since MakerGen will NOT unlink my account from their scam network.
